It seems we are constantly surprized by how far tortilla fever is extending. We are not talking places like Topeka, Kansas, but Amman (Jordan) or Kabul (Afghanistan), to name but a few... unusual requests we received. We are happy to ship our tortilla machines anywhere in the world as long as we can get it there. The notes below are intended to ease the process of acquiring a machine for our international customers by making sure they are aware of some key elements.
- We have no representative and/or agent anywhere in the world. All your dealings will be with our corporate headquarters in Ft Worth, Texas (USA).
- Paris (France) isn't as close to us as Paris, Texas (USA) is. Accordingly, it'll take a bit longer and cost a little more to ship a machine to you or to send a technician to you.
- All price quotes are in US dollars ex-taxes. The price we quote you is the price we should have in the bank after all wire fees, exchange fees, etc... have been settled.
- If requested, we can send a team to assist you with the installation of your machine. Quotes for installation services are provided separately upon request.
- We do not normally resell ingredients. Please ask us if you would like to have your ingredients shipped to you from our plant.
- We reserve the right to request payment in full before releasing a machine for shipping.
- We do not have any information about import regulations for your specific country. Please ask your local authorities.
- Due to US laws, we cannot sell a machine to be shipped to countries on the US Department Of State embargo list (currently Cuba, Iran, Iraq, Libya, North Korea, Sudan & Syria). Likewise, we cannot sell a machine if we suspect the customer intends to re-export it to a country on the embargo list.
- While we try very hard to provide the best customer service we can, import regulations, customs clearance or immigration delays may hamper our ability to quickly dispatch spare parts or a technician to your location.
This list is by no mean intended to scare potential customers away. We welcome and seek orders from foreign countries as well as from the United States. We believe, however, in doing business in an equitable fashion where both parties have all the facts at their disposal. It is our belief that it ultimately benefits both the seller and the buyer and fosters long term relationships. We like to say our tortillas make customers for life. We want to do the same thing for our machines.
