 Buy a machine.
We receive, and welcome, serious enquires about used equipment from all corners of the world. We constantly have several machines awaiting refurbishing on hand, and we also have many contacts with companies trying to offload their unused machines, which allows us to locate most equipment within a short time.
Some of our customers ask us to advise them about the size of the equipment they need to start their business. We are unable to answer such questions, however, because we do not know the details of your local market and we don't conduct market studies or consulting services either. Some of our customers started their business by acquiring a small line from us. When their business expanded, they sold us their first line and bought another refurbished line with a higher capacity from us. Please note that we do not sell combo ovens (combo ovens can cook both corn and flour tortillas). We don't recommend the use of combo ovens either, except for very small start-up operations. Once you pass the 2,000 tortilla/hour threshold, it is in fact hard to find any combo oven. Our recipes are part of our trade secrets and are not for sale. If you ask us for a corn recipe or a flour recipe, we will give you a generic one that you can customize to your liking. Some marketing... We realize this may not seem like the ideal language to get you to call us with your used tortilla equipment. When we deal with our suppliers, we don't like surprises, so we figure you don't either. By giving you the facts before you call, we hope that you will be better informed and that you will want to do business with us because we're not trying to hook you with some clever marketing technique. We also believe that if we treat you with honesty, you will come back to us with more business... Hopefully, you'll prove us right. |
